Most Indian universities run a thesis or dissertation through Turnitin or DrillBit before accepting it, and both now report AI-written text as well as copied text. Questions
Will my score here match the Turnitin or DrillBit AI score?
Not exactly. Every detector uses its own method, so the percentages from different tools differ. Use this report to find and rewrite the passages that read as AI-written before you submit.
Is this a plagiarism (similarity) checker?
No. AcadVista AI Detect checks only for AI-written text. It does not compare your document with published sources for copied text.
Will checking here put my thesis in a repository that Turnitin or DrillBit can see?
No. We are not connected to either service and never share documents. The uploaded file is deleted as soon as the check ends, and the report stays only in your account for 30 days.
Can I use Turnitin or DrillBit myself?
Both are licensed mainly to universities and institutions, so most students cannot run a check on their own before submitting. AcadVista AI Detect is open to anyone with an email address.
